Remo - DIPLOMAT Weatherking Light Head
| DIPLOMAT? drumheads are the most open sounding WEATHERKING? heads compared to AMBASSADOR? then EMPEROR? heads. DIPLOMAT? heads are made using a single ply of 7.5mil thick film. They?re best known for resonant heads opening up the tom-tom sounds of EMPEROR? and PINSTRIPE? batter heads in live applications with their bright tones, resonance, and sustain.
DIPLOMAT? heads come in clear and coated finishes for tom-tom (batter and resonant) and snare batter heads. Snare side heads come in a hazy finish only. |

Remo - AMBASSADOR Medium Weatherking Head
| AMBASSADOR? heads are made using a single ply 10 mil film to produce an open, bright, and resonant sound with plenty of attack. These medium-weighted heads are one of the three original WEATHERKING? series and are available in clear, smooth white, and coated finishes |
|
Remo - EMPEROR Heavy Weatherking Head
| EMPEROR? heads are the darkest sounding and most durable of the classic WEATHERKING? series. These heads use two free-floating plys of 7 mil film, which gives them their consistent open tones and accounts for their popularity among many of today?s top drummers.
Remo?s never-ending innovation has brought these (and all of Remo?s other two-ply heads including PINSTRIPE?, SUEDE?, and RENAISSANCE?) heads to new levels. They offer the sustain, roundness, and clarity of single ply drumheads with two ply durability, making them the industry standard of what two ply heads should be.
EMPEROR? heads are available in clear, coated, and smooth white finishes for snare batters, tom-toms, bass batters, and resonant heads. |

Remo - CONTROLLEDSOUND Medium Weight Head With Dot
| Introduced in 1968, CONTROLLED SOUND? heads are single ply ambassador?-weight heads with a 5 mil thick black or clear dot in the center of the head. This combination offers a controlled, centered sound without undesirable "overtones."
These dual-zone heads have a combination of medium and heavy-duty drumhead characteristics. The outer area of the head's playing surface offers a mid-range tone and sensitivity while the laminated center "dot" eliminates high frequency overtones and adds durability and tonal focus to meet the demands of heavier hitters.
CONTROLLED SOUND? heads are ideal for snares and come in clear, smooth white, and coated finishes. |

Remo - PINSTRIPE 2-Ply Drum Head
| PINSTRIPE? heads have remained as one of Remo?s most popular drumheads since its 1973 introduction. The well-known and heavily recorded PINSTRIPE? has a very focused low-pitched sound with moderate attack and response characteristics. PINSTRIPE??s quick decay makes them ideal heads for the "fat" sounds of rock and R&B. They?re also considered ideal for creating a deeper, controlled drum sound in studio and live situations.
PINSTRIPE? heads are made with two 7 mil plys with a measured layer of a ring-reducing agent applied between them at the outer edge of their trademark stripe. This internal muffling dampens the high frequency overtones for a warmer resonance.
PINSTRIPE? heads are available in the classic clear finish, as well as coated for an even warmer, more controlled sound. There?s also a PINSTRIPE? with an EBONY? finish |
|
Remo - EBONY Black Drum Head
| Developed initially for their striking visual impact, EBONY? heads have a unique sound that?s as deep and dark as their appearance. These heads are so popular that they are the OEM factory-supplied standard for bass drum front heads due to their depth, resonance and classic look. Many of Remo?s high-profile artists use EBONY? front bass heads and many also use them for tom-tom bottoms.
They are available in an ambassador?-weight and an even darker PINSTRIPE? version. |

Remo - RENAISSANCE Natural Sound Drum Head
| A warmth, sensitivity, and articulation reminiscent of calfskin all characterize RENAISSANCE? heads. These heads have a very warm and tonal sound that?s great for melodic expression and affords a wider, more balanced sound spectrum for tympani, snares, toms, and bass drums in any drumming application. RENAISSANCE? is the new worldwide industry standard for tympani drums in live or studio situations.
For snare drums and timbales, RENAISSANCE??s textured surface provides excellent stick and brush response that will not degrade under harsh playing. For tom-toms, RENAISSANCE? combines the warmth and depth of laminated heads, the clarity and response of coated heads, with the resonance and projection of clear heads. For bass drums, RENAISSANCE? creates a deep, round sound with a low fundamental and moderate attack. This combination allows a low pitch and high degree of control over decay as tuning and a variety of muffling techniques to modify the pitch and attack in acoustic and mic?d situations.
RENAISSANCE? uses the latest in textured film technology to create a textured surface that?s excellent for sticks, brushes, and mallets. This extraordinary material is made in a two-part process, first treating the film surface with an ultra-thin coating and then curing it in a special environment. |

Remo - FIBERSKYN3 Skin Type Drum Head
| FIBERSKYN? 3 drumheads were created to duplicate the characteristic look, sound, and feel of drumheads used in the Bebop jazz era. The classic FIBERSKYN? 3 sound features a warm, dark, round tone which is highly recommended for traditional jazz, concert snare drums, bass drums and tom-toms.FIBERSKYN? 3 heads are made by fusing a single-ply of Mylar? film with poly-spun fibers in a proprietary high temperature bonding process. The resulting finish is similar to the texture of animal skin and is great for brushwork.
FIBERSKYN? 3 is available in the three commonly used weights, but are referenced differently because of the additional bonding process. (FT weight is the equivalent of a diplomat? thickness while the following (FD) is the equivalent of an ambassador?-weight. After that is FA, which is the equivalent of a two-ply thickness while the thickest F1 weight is heavier still.
FIBERSKYN? 3 is also used on a variety of World Percussion instruments, where it?s available in several heavier weights. |

Remo - POWERSTROKE3 1-Ply Drum Head With Ring
| The POWERSTROKE? concept of adding an underlay ring was pioneered by Remo. The POWERSTROKE? 3 head is a single ply ambassador?-weight head with an underlay ring at the outer edge of the head to subtly dampen unwanted over-ring. This design creates a near-perfect balance of response and tone control that has quickly made POWERSTROKE? 3 one of Remo's most popular drumhead models.
Recommended for all drumming styles and situations, POWERSTROKE? 3 heads come in a coated or clear finish (with or without a dot) and are also available in FIBERSKYN? 3, EBONY?, SUEDE?, and RENAISSANCE? bass drumheads.
POWERSTROKE? 3 snare heads (13-14") and tom tom heads (8-10-12-14-16") use a 3mil inlay ring while the POWERSTROKE? 3 bass drum heads (16-18-20-22-24-26") use a 10mil ring. |

 Remo - POWERSTROKE4 2-Ply Head With Ring
| POWERSTROKE? 4 takes the improved sound and performance of the new EMPEROR? to an even deeper, darker level. These heads combine the depth and fullness of double-ply EMPERORS? with a special underlay at the head?s outer edge to help focus the drum?s sound by slightly dampening its high-end frequencies, similar to the popular single-ply POWERSTROKE? 3.
With a wide range of models and sizes available, including the 14" coated POWERSTROKE? 4 snare drumhead with top or bottom dot, today?s heaviest hitters now have a great sounding head that?s been designed specifically for them. |
